Scotty is the CEO of Resynate, a rapidly growing health & wellness organization specializing in CBD & other hemp derived cannabinoid-based products. As CEO, Scotty has enjoyed the challenges associated with growth and ownership of the business, as well as providing mentorship and guidance to his employees.

Scotty also serves as the Director of Business Development for Bazelet Health Systems. Bazelet™ is revolutionizing the field of cannabis genome engineering and sequencing and is deeply involved in the international scientific, medical, and regulatory communities regarding the cannabis genus. Bazelet’s plant science work: we are creating next generation super foods derived from very therapeutic, non-psychoactive, federally legal cannabis. Bazelet™ recently created PECSA™, physician formulated, Plant-based Endocannabinoid System Activator. PECSA™ is a plant-based, water-soluble ingredient made from patented cannabis plant extracts that contain a proprietary combination of non-psychoactive Cannabigerol (CBG) and its acidic precursor, Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA), in addition to other constituents and is intended to be “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS), as regulated by the FDA under the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic (FDC) Act.

Scotty is a servant/visionary leader and results-oriented entrepreneur, with a proven track record of business and strategic partnership development. He has a diverse professional background that demonstrate his skills in performance optimization, organizational leadership, client/vendor relations, organizational restructuring, product development, executive team leadership, strategic planning, & business development. He is a critical and strategic thinker, who shows good judgement and decision making in a fast-paced business environment.

After over a decade in corporate finance and residential real estate, Scotty’s career goals began to shift based on his desires for greater purpose, well-being, and self-actualization. Since 2016 he has spent countless hours testing and researching holistic plant-based products, the endocannabinoid system, and all the natural secrets this beautiful planet has to offer us.

His true calling and alignment with his business began with a phone call from his 88-year-old grandmother who was undergoing treatment for her stage-4 lymphoma with little hope. She was on the verge of giving up, and then decided to incorporate whole plant extracts and a raw plant-based diet into her daily regimen. The nature of her call was to let him know she was in fact feeling alive again, and that the oncologist just let her know her lymphoma had gone into remission, and there was no more need for chemo/radiation therapy. This statement is in no way intended to represent cause and effect, but merely to share the story that pushed him into alignment with his company and its mission.

In Scotty’s free time you can find him on a long nature hike, kayaking or paddle boarding, and sailing his sailboat through the Chesapeake Bay. If there’s snow on the ground, you are likely to find him skiing from first tracks to close. He is a father to many plants, his cat Poe, and a man centered closely around his family and friends.
