Justin Rohrback - Chief Medical Officer

Justin Rohrback, CRNP, FNP-BC, RN, CST, brings over a decade of health care experience to Resynate. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, he has experience in Medical cannabis, Aesthetics,  medical managed weight loss, primary care, hormone replacement therapy, vitamin replacement therapy, peptide therapy, mental health, and substance abuse. He serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Resynate where he is primarily involved in the development and implementation of the education materials for both staff and consumers. He also assists our formulator with product development, and will be providing a medical blog focussed on the current state of research surrounding the wonderful cannabis plant and all of its medicinal properties.

Justin graduated with honors from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts where he earned his master’s degree in nursing and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau honors society as a nurse leader. He is also an alumni of the following universities: Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, DeSales University, Lancaster General college of health sciences. He has also completed advanced coursework with American Military University.

Professionally Justin has experience as a university professor for several years where he taught surgical assisting, surgical techniques, and surgical pharmacology. He also has experience in institutional design and course development. In addition he also served as a researcher/cadaver lab coordinator for a medical research group, and a guest lecturer. Justin was named one of America's top 100 nurses in 2020. He is excited to bring his knowledge and love of medicine and the Endocannabinoid system (ECS) to the Resynate family. He became passionate about the health benefits of cannabis during his time working in inpatient psychiatry and addiction medicine. He noticed that many patients suffering from anxiety and depression were turning to cannabis and achieving greater reductions in their perceived symptoms which led him to dive into research on the ECS. He has come to understand the potential benefits of the use of CBD for the adjunctive management of many medical concerns without the need for addictive pharmaceuticals.
